Description
Casa Solis Chardonnay (75cl)
A harmonious white wine with aromas of ripe banana, pineapple and vanilla. Rich and unctuous, with floral notes and tropical fruit flavours.
Vinification Details: Grapes are harvested when they are at just the right point of maturity to express the full potential of the famous Chardonnay grapes of the Casablanca Valley. After destemming, grapes are cooled down (below 13º for more than 20 days) to prevent fermentation from starting too soon and enhance fruit concentration. The wine remains in contact with fine lees for 60 days to enhance its body and flavour.
History: The Viña Casa Solís winery represents a decisive milestone in Félix Solís' internationalisation strategy. Following a €45 million investment and years of planning and development, the winery began its first production in 2024. Equipped with the latest technology and located in a privileged position in the Cachapoal valley, the company aims to position itself at the heart of quality Chilean winemaking.
Regional Information: Just 30 kilometres from the Pacific, the Casablanca Valley enjoys cool, temperate conditions, allowing grapes to ripen slowly, resulting in wines that are rich in flavour with bright acidity.
