William Teacher the maker of the Teachers blended Scotch whisky, started blending the drink in the 1830s. He began creating his own drink by mixing and trying out unique ways to make the perfect blend.
30 years later it was when the Teacher's Highland Cream released with his name on it. His son opened his own distillery where he made sure the Teacher's malt whisky would carry on to be produced for consumers world wide. It is still distilled there the Ardmore distillery.
