In 1608 a royal license was granted to distil whisky for the county of Antrim in Northern Ireland. 1608 this occurred, however the distillery was established in 1784 by Hugh Anderson, managed to survive wars, fire & prohibition but still gone on to produce the finest whiskeys.

Bushmills family have been determined to continue in their hard work of producing the finest whiskey's, whereas there was once a generation of many Irish whiskeys which have has now decreased.

Bushmills is one of the oldest remaining and certainly viewed as the best!
