La Grande Dame 2018 showcases the Pinot Noir grape, which comprises 90% of the blend, staying true to Madame Clicquot's vision: 'Our black grapes make the finest white wines.' Deep and precise, the 2018 vintage stands out as one of the most exceptional harvests in recent years.
The 2018 season presented contrasting conditions: a particularly wet winter followed by a long, hot, and sunny summer. These conditions yielded a harvest of exceptional quality, the resulting wines achieve a perfect balance of freshness and aromatic complexity.
The 2018 vintage is especially noteworthy for Pinot Noir. The red grapes attained excellent phenolic maturity, leading to wines with impressive structure, depth, and complexity.
