Classic & Sophisticated Taittinger Champagne

One look at the Taittinger website and you can see how classy this brand is. Their homepage is sophisticated and theatrical, with its history brought to life using sumptuously cinematic videos.

Taittinger champagne is one of the few houses that remains with the original family. The origins of this brand date back to 1734 when it was founded by Jacques Fourneaux, who worked closely with the Benedictine Abbeys. The Taittingers were a family of wine merchants who moved to the Paris region in 1870.

What makes Taittinger champagne special?

This champagne is typified by its high percentage of Chardonnay, which can be anything from 40% to 100% for their prestigious Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs.

The packaging for this champagne is just as sumptuous as the drink itself. For instance, take a look at their bottle of Nocturne Sec NV City Lights (75cl). While the drink is a beautiful yellow colour with golden highlights, the bottle is equally beautiful. Sheathed in a dusky blue, it looks instantly romantic and is perfect for weddings.

You can buy this champagne package for £41.45 on Champagne One.
