Vinification Details: Grapes are hand harvested and soft pressed with the use of presses operating under vacuum. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of about 18°C which preserves the fruitiness and the finest sensory characteristics of the wine in stainless steel tanks
History: Ramato refers to the old Friulian-style (North-East Italy) of fermenting Pinot Grigio on its skins, thus creating a coppery-coloured wine. This attractive wine comes from the sunny vineyards of the beautiful region of Friuli, in north-eastern Italy.
Regional Information: 100-400 meters above level. The climate of the wine-growing areas of the Friuli region ranges from the sub-Mediterranean climate of the coastal areas to the more humid temperate climate of the hilly areas.
