Piper-Heidsieck was founded by Florens-Louis Heidsieck on July 16, 1785 in Reims. After the founder died in 1828, the business was taken over by his nephew, Christian Heidsieck, and his cousin Henri-Guillaume Piper. They combined to form the Piper-Heidsieck house when Henri Piper married the widow of Christian Heidsieck in 1838.
The signature cuvée of the House is the round and vibrant non-vintage Cuvée Brut which recalls the rich variety of its blend of 100 crus from across the Champagne vineyards.
