Background Information:

Armand de Brignac (otherwise called "Ace Of Spades") is created by the Cattier family home, proprietors of Champagne vineyards since 1763 and perceived as one of the world's best Champagne makers by Robert Parker, Tom Stevenson, Jancis Robinson, and others.

Packaged in restricted amounts through customary hand work concentrated techniques by a little staff of just eight individuals, administered by father and son oenologues Jean-Jacques and Alexandre Cattier.

The Grapes for the Brut Gold and Rosé cuvées are taken from three terroirs in the support of Champagne: the Marne office. These incorporate the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs. The Blanc de Blancs cuvée is made exclusively of Chardonnay grapes from the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs terroirs. All grapes are from towns appraised Premier or Grand Cru.

Jean-Jacques and Alexandre Cattier have chosen grapes from Armand de Brignac's own particular vineyards and from towns in the terroirs specified above, including Grand Cru villages Cramant, Avize, Oger, and Choully, and Premier Cru towns Ludes, Rilly-la_ãMontagne, Villers Allerand, Taissy, Villers Marmery, and Mareuil-sur-Ay for each bottling of Armand de Brignac.

The wine is a top division of the primary cuvée pushing on our traditional Coquart press, used to separate the cuvée gradually and with the most elevated nature of juice. Each cuvée is a mix of three unmistakable vintages, taking into consideration more multifaceted nature, lavishness, and subtlety of fragrances than a practically identical single-vintage wine.

The Armand de Brignac bottles age in a gated area of the Cattier basements, considered among the most profound in Champagne at more than 30 meters underground. This guarantees a low, steady temperature helpful for moderate maturing. Remuage (riddling) is done totally by hand on customary wooden racks, over a time of 30-45 days. After spewing, the Champagne is refreshed for no less than an extra 6 months before containers can be discharged.

Each Armand de Brignac cuvée incorporates a remarkable alcohol de measurement matured 9 months in oak barrels, already utilized for maturing Burgundy Chardonnay.
