Amour de Deutz is proof of that– a special blanc de blancs Tête de Cuvée made from Chardonnay grapes that are harvested only in years of exceptional quality.
The grapes come from two grand crus vineyards in Côtes des Blancs — Mesnil sur Oger and Avize, with a touch of Villers Marmery for “terroir” characteristics.
Pure, light and crystalline with subtle bronze tints and a delicate thread of bubbles.
The seductive and expressive nose offers an explosion of ripe fruits and white flowers.
The wine is silky, delicate and direct on the palate, which is underpinned by an intense minerality.
